Tim is convinced the chickens are organising. Thin the flock, follow a strange scent from Martin to Patricia to Emmy on Greywake, then lure out and defeat the Giant Chicken.

A comic quest with a real boss at the end. The rewards are the Ring of the Roost, 1,200 Attack XP, 1,200 Strength XP, 800 Defence XP, 3,000 coins and 2 Quest Points.
Requirements: Patricia's Herbal Remedy, Fisherman's Friend, 15 Quest Points, Combat level 40, Cooking 25 and Alchemy 20.

Red Berries (consumed) Buy from Edd the shopkeep for 22 coins (+1 more shops); Gather: Berry bush (Gathering 1); Drop: Ember Mage (1/5).
Wheat (consumed) Buy from Miller Bram for 5 coins; Gather: Wheat patch (Farming 1); Make it: Farming plot (Farming 1).- For Patricia: 4 Red Berries, 2 Mint Bundles and 1 Honey Jar (all taken).

Kill 6 Chickens. The pen next to Tim, around (35–38, 53–56), is closest; the Farm Chickens in Southfield Farms count too. When the sixth falls, the quest moves on by itself.
Talk to Martin, inside his house or outside it.
Talk to Patricia. She asks for 4 Red Berries, 2 Mint Bundles and 1 Honey Jar.
Talk to Patricia again with the ingredients in your backpack. She takes them and gives you the
Fowl-Scent Tonic.Go to The Docks and talk to Captain Maren around (34, 19). Choose Tim's chicken emergency - Free passage (the normal fare is 250 coins). On Greywake Isle, enter Emmy's Cottage (door at (43, 17)) and talk to Emmy. She gives you the
Greywake Rooster Token.Return to Tim with 8 Wheat, 3 Eggs, the Fowl-Scent Tonic and the Greywake Rooster Token. He takes them all.
Talk to Tim, choose Enter the old coop and defeat the Giant Chicken inside.
Talk to Tim to collect the Ring of the Roost and the rest of the reward. Keep one slot free.
Spoiler The Giant Chicken
Talk to Tim again and choose Enter the old coop. You are taken into a private arena with the Giant Chicken. Defeat it; the quest updates as soon as it falls. If you have to leave before winning, talk to Tim and enter the coop again: he opens a fresh one.
Notes
- Chicken kills made before you start the quest, or after the sixth, do not count.
- The Giant Chicken counts towards the Hall of Fame as a boss kill.
