A List of Unreasonable Requests
Emelie hands you her shopping list. It is very long, it goes everywhere, and she is quite sure you won't finish it.

Quest preparation
Game dataItems you need to hand in or show during the quest, and the quickest known ways to get them. Items given to you by NPCs during the quest are not listed.
The stops can be done in any order and at any later time. The searchables only appear for players on the quest, and each gives one item (a lost one can be searched for again; the sugar jar gives one scoop per player, ever).
The list's own quest items cannot be traded or dropped, but can be banked. Bring everything in your backpack: Emelie takes what you carry and crosses it off, so you can hand items in a few at a time. The rewards come with the last delivery.
The Unreasonably Lucky Charm is reusable: your next 3 hits taken within 10 minutes are 2 lower, then it needs 30 minutes. It shares the Lucky Knot effect, so the two never stack.
- 250 coins for Captain Maren's boat from The Docks to Greywake Isle. The trip back is free.
- A pickaxe for the Cave, unless you already have a
Rough Quartz. - About ten free backpack slots. Each list item takes its own slot. You can bank them on the way, but Emelie only accepts what is in your backpack.
Walkthrough
GuideComplete solution, including boss tactics and story reveals.
Talk to Emelie and choose Ask about A List of Unreasonable Requests. She gives you
Emelie's Shopping List. From now on, named searchables appear at each stop, only for you.
Mossy Pinecone: Mossy Pine Root in the Pinewood Clearing at (61, 52), west of Emelie's cottage.
Antique Wooden Spoon: Nail by the Well in Edville at (24, 15), just east of the Whispering Well.
Sunbaked Root: Sunbaked Furrow in Southfield Farms at (57, 9), beside the north road just south-west of the Southfield ritual circle.
Saltwater Teacup: Rope-tangled Teacup at The Docks at (29, 18), on the quay west of the ship.
Greywake Bell Shard: Salt-crusted Rubble on Greywake Isle at (14, 23), a few steps east of the landing.
Frosted Nettle: Frost-bitten Nettles in Frostveil Reach at (47, 62), north-west of the ritual circle by the southern pass.
Rough Quartz: mine copper or iron ore in the Cave. Now and then a quartz falls out. Mirelle in Southfield also sells it.
Moon Sugar: take one scoop from Emelie's Sugar Jar in Mage's Village at (59, 54), east of the ritual circle. The jar gives one scoop per player, ever. If you lose it, buy more at the General Store in Edville or from Patricia.
You don't have to wait until you have all eight. Each time you talk to Emelie she takes every list item in your backpack and crosses it off, and a System line shows how many of the eight are handed in. Items in your bank must be withdrawn first. Delivered items stay crossed off, so you never need to find them again. The rewards come with the last delivery.
Notes
- Searching a stop again never gives a second copy. If you truly lose a list item, search its stop again. If you lose the list itself, Emelie has many copies.
- The list's own quest items cannot be traded or dropped, but they can be banked. When the last item is handed in, every remaining copy (backpack and bank) is removed, so nothing clutters your inventory.
- Optional hint: casting a
Bone Divination Set while the quest is active points you towards a missing stop. Nothing is revealed or handed out for you. - The Unreasonably Lucky Charm is reusable. Tie it on and your next 3 hits taken within 10 minutes are 2 lower, then it needs 30 minutes to recover. It uses the Lucky Knot effect, so the two never stack. If you lose it, Emelie gives you another.
