- Dwarven Miners (combat 6) live in the Cave; Dark Dwarves (combat 16) in the Deep Cave (entrance needs Mining 15).
- The final opponent is combat level 40 with 190 hitpoints and hits up to 14. Bring food and your best gear.
- Getting to Whalewood: leave the Overworld through its west edge at (0, 25–26) into Westwood Pass, then follow the pass to its west edge.
